One of the UK’s largest Energy Solutions companies is offering a unique opportunity for an experienced Business Development/Senior Sales Professional to join the company to secure and manage new energy projects based in either the Midlands or South West.
The company is operating in a niche market offering 360 energy expertises to organisations across the UK in a bid to drive down rising energy costs to improve building performance and increase productivity.
With ‘Energy’ being one of the main focuses for companies across the Globe we are looking for an individual with experience in concept/solution selling involving long term, high end value contracts. Although the projects are of a highly technical nature this aspect of the role will be taken on by a back room staff of qualified engineers and the main focus for this position is a proven track record of achievement.
Your Key responsibilities will be:
Making initial contact to companies across the UK presenting at Director/C.E.O. level.
Determine prospects using key account plans with existing customers, and identify new customers using market knowledge.
Prioritise prospects using high level benchmarking to determine significant enough opportunities to proceed.
Identify and engage sponsors within the organisation, at all levels and disciplines.
Qualify prospects using solution selling process and offering qualification questions to determine solution fit.
Educate customers of high level approach of offerings and gain commitment to methodology.
Gather all relevant company information such as utility bills, building metrics, contracts and other additional material essential to give accurate forecasts.
Negotiate contract terms and oversee consultation process for each client, identifying all energy issues and opportunities.
Report back to Senior and Director Level on a weekly/monthly basis

You will currently be a Senior Business Development Manager , Business Development Manager , National Account Manager, National Sales Manager or Sales Manager ideally with experience in negotiating long term high revenue contracts.
